Welcome to the Parent Council
At Sulhamstead and Ufton Nervet CE (VA) Primary, we believe in fostering a strong partnership between parents and our school. The Parent Council plays a pivotal role in bridging communication and collaboration within our community. It serves as a valuable platform for discussing ideas, voicing concerns, and contributing to school decision-making processes. We encourage all parents to get involved and help us make our school the best environment for our children.
The Parent Council meets once every term and provides a structured setting where parents can constructively engage with school leaders. These meetings are crucial in shaping the educational landscape of our school, influencing everything from event planning to the development of new policies. Your participation ensures that the council represents a wide array of perspectives, enriching our discussions and outcomes. We value your input as it is integral to our continuous improvement and success.
We warmly invite all parents of Sulhamstead and Ufton Nervet CE (VA) Primary to join the Parent Council. Whether you have a lot of time to offer or can only spare a little, your contribution will be greatly appreciated. Together, we can achieve more and provide our children with the best possible educational experience. We launched our Parent Council to improve links between parents and the decisions made in school, so we can all work collaboratively to ensure the best for all our children. The Parent Council at SUN is to formalise the gathering of views from parents and for parents to find out more about what we do behind the scenes and why we do it; a channel for feedback from parents to the school and Vice Versa.
It can support/manage/co-ordinate additional support from parents e.g.
- further develop proposals/suggestions
- offer hands-on support
